The Senior Accountant position will focus on the following:
* fund accounting
*financial reporting
*tax compliance
*capital calls and cash disbursements,
Primary Job Responsibilities
•Work directly with the Controller and /orFund Managers with monthly, quarterly reporting via GAAP. Apply these principals to investment funds, side funds, and separate management companies
*valuing the portfolio in accordance with GAAP
*transaction analysis including dispositions, allocations and distributions
•maintenance and improvement of internal controls / processes
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications include but are not limited to:
• 4+ years experience at a top tier big 4 accounting firm
• Investment fund accounting a plus
• Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency
• BA/BS in Finance/Accounting and CPA required,
* MBA preferred
